FORT KENT, Maine — The second senior ladies golf event of the summer was held at the Fort Kent Golf Club on July 12.
Rita Levesque of Grand Falls Country Club highlighted the day’s play with a hole-in-one on hole No. 3. It was the first ace of her career.
Winners in the four divisions of play were as follows:
Div. A: first net, Levesque, Grand Falls Country Club, 68; and first gross, Kathy Roy, Fort Kent Golf Club, 85. Div. B: first net, Peggy Larrabee, Mars Hill Country Club, 82; first gross, Donna Daigle, Fort Kent Golf Club, 97. Div. C: first net, Gail Sirois, Fort Kent Golf Club, 76; first gross, Gloria Towle, Aroostook Valley Country Club, 103. Div. D: first net, Brenda Carmen, Houlton Country Club, 74; first gross, Deborah Porter, Va Jo Wa, 111.
The next meet is July 26 at Mars Hill Country Club.
