CARIBOU, Maine — Andrew Michaud of Aroostook Home Improvement in Caribou became the latest winner in the “CAMO Screw Off!” deck fastening competition held recently at S.W. Collins Co.
He has now earned the right to compete for a 2017 Harley-Davidson Roadster motorcycle and other cash prizes at the CAMO Screw Off! finals, which will be held at the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association’s Lumber and Building Material (LBM) Expo in Providence, R.I., in February 2018.
“It was a well-attended event, where everyone had a great time,” said Leslie Jackson, marketing manager at S.W. Collins. “Our pro contractor customers really enjoyed either participating in the competition or watching the excitement unfold. They also got a first-hand demonstration of the CAMO Edge Fastening system. Some had never seen it in action before and were immediately amazed by its speed and accuracy.”
The competition is designed to introduce contractors to the full array of CAMO deck fastening products. Additional qualifying events will take place at dealer locations based in New Jersey and New England throughout the summer.
S.W. Collins is a fifth-generation Aroostook County lumber and building supply dealer with locations in Lincoln, Houlton, Presque Isle, Caribou and Fort Kent. Their commitment to offering excellent products and legendary service has been the core of the business since 1844.
