CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou tennis team won three of the six divisions at the Northern Maine Community Recreation Association doubles tournament, played at the Teague Park courts Tuesday, July 25.

Sixteen duos representing the communities of Caribou, Presque Isle and Van Buren participated in the tournament, which was held exactly one week after the NMCRA singles tourney in Presque Isle.

The three victories, combined with a dominating performance at the singles event on July 18, helped give Caribou its 35th consecutive NMCRA tennis championship.

Caribou’s winners in doubles play were Madelynn Deprey and Emmie McIntyre in the 9-10 girls’ division; Madison Stratton and Sage Dubay for 13-15 girls; and Parker Deprey and Brevin Barnes for 13-15 boys.
