HODGDON, Maine — The Southern Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District will hold an awards recognition and pig roast dinner Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. at Hidden Spring Winery in Hodgdon.
Conservation awards will be presented to Kingsbury Family Farm in Bridgewater for “2017 Outstanding Conservation Farmer” and to Sue Szwed for “2017 Conservation Partner.”
The dinner is open to the public but due to limited seating, pre-registration is required. Cost is $25 per person with a cash wine bar. Those interested in purchasing tickets for the awards dinner may contact the SASWCD at 254-4126 or by email, angela.wotton@me.nacdnet.net.
