PRESQUE ISLE – Leonard F. Curtis, 63, passed away August 1, 2017, in Caribou after being involved in a motorcycle accident. He was born Feb. 16, 1954 in Presque Isle, the son of Franklin and Leona (Little) Curtis.
He served in the US Army. Leonard has worked at McCain Foods in Easton for 37 years. He was a member of the Presque Isle Elks Club, and the VFW in Presque Isle. Leonard enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, and just being outdoors.
He is survived by his father Franklin Curtis of Presque Isle, a son Stewart Curtis and his wife Jamie of Caribou, a daughter Trisha Chamberlain and her husband Lee of Presque Isle, a brother Richard Curtis and his wife Lorraine, four sisters; Penny McDonald and her husband Fred, Katherine and Tammy Curtis, Brenda Hafford and her husband Tim, all of Presque Isle; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Leona, and two brothers Gary and Ronald Curtis.
Friends called 5:30-7 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle, where a service was held at 7 p.m. with the Officers and members of the Presque Isle Elks, officiating. Interment with military honors will be held at a later date at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
