HOULTON, Maine — The Woodie Wheaton Land Trust will sponsor local artist, Susan Weaver, for a Paint for a Purpose session on Saturday, Sept. 2.
The event will be held at the Country Co-op & Farm Store, 53 Main Street, Houlton, from 2-4:30 p.m.
Weaver will lead participants in the creation of their own nature-inspired acrylic painting. All levels of artists are welcome. The cost is $35 and includes all materials and hors d’oeuvres. Space is limited so RSVP to (207) 448-3250 by Tuesday, Aug. 29.
All proceeds will benefit the work of the Land Trust, which promotes the protection, preservation and conservation of land and water in the Boundary Lakes region of eastern Maine and western New Brunswick for the benefit of present and future generations.
