MAPLETON, Maine — Mapleton, Chapman and Castle Hill residents will see a brief interruption in power Thursday, Aug. 17, for utility work.
Emera Maine crews are scheduled to make updates to the electrical system that will help improve service to customers in the three towns. The work will begin at 2 a.m. and last approximately 5 minutes. During this time electric service will be suspended to enable crews to safely complete their work.
This maintenance will affect customers residing on Bagley Road, Boone Road, Braley Heights, Carvell Road, Creasey Ridge Road, Doyen Drive, Dudley Road, Estey Lane, Fords Lane, Garland Road, Grendell Road, Griffin Ridge Road, Hanson Lake Road, Haystack Road, High Street, Hughes Road, Main Street, Maple Street, McDonald Road, Moose Ridge Road, Morrison Street, Park Road, Pease Road, Pelkey Road, Pine Street, Pleasant Hill Drive, Pulcifur Road, Richardson Road, Smith Road, Squa Pan Lake, State Road, Station Street, Sunrise Circle, Turner Road, Turner Street, Waddell Road, West Chapman Road and Wonderview Drive.
The public is urged to use caution, move over when possible, and pass at a safe speed if approaching utility crews working on or alongside roadways.
