Mill Pond principal welcomes new students

HODGDON, Maine — Loreen Wiley, principal at Mill Pond School, welcomes all new students to SAD 70. Parents of new students in the following towns: Hodgdon, Amity, Cary, Haynesville, Linneus, Ludlow and New Limerick, should register at Mill Pond School in Hodgdon before the first day of school. 

The SAD 70 School Board also wishes to remind all parents/guardians that the first day of school for students in grades K-6 will be Tuesday, Sept. 5. Breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. with classes beginning promptly at 8 a.m. Buses leave the school at 2:30 p.m. and late dismissal for walkers, bikers, and students is at 2:35.

“We ask that parents schedule appointments for later in the afternoon, so students will complete their daily classes,” Wiley said.

Pre-K will start classes on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
