ST. DAVID, Maine — The St. John Valley Senior Golf Association held its sixth tournament of the year Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Long Lake Country Club and it included 114 golfers from throughout northern Maine and New Brunswick.
Division winners were as follows: Div. A: first gross, Clay Halladay of Va Jo Wa, 70; first net, Steve Gagnon, Caribou, 65; second gross, Warren Walker, Va Jo Wa, 74; second net, Bob MacFarland, Edmundston, 66; third gross, Joe Sullivan, Covered Bridge, 75; and third net, Gary Dukeshire, Woodstock, 68.
Div. B: first gross, Rick Umphrey, Caribou, 73; first net, Don Michaud, Long Lake, 65; second gross, Clinton Doustu, Fort Kent, 79; second net, Peter Curley, Covered Bridge, 70; third gross, Ray Mersereau, Mars Hill, 82; and third net, Norm Collins, Caribou, 72.
