CARIBOU, Maine — The fourth ladies’ tournament of the summer for the Upper St. John Valley Senior Golf Association was held Aug. 16 at Caribou Country Club.
Winners were crowned in four divisions as follows:
Div. A: first gross, Betty Deveau of Caribou, 83; and first net, Lucy McLaughlin of Grand Falls, 63; Div. B: first gross, April James of Aroostook Valley, 84; first net, Harriet Gray, Houlton, 62.
Div. C: first gross, Janice Beaulieu of Caribou, 92; first net, Susan Linkletter of Covered Bridge, 60; and Div. D: first gross, Ginny Benner of Caribou, 110; first net, Nita Theriault of Presque Isle, 71.
The next meet will be on Sept. 6 at Va Jo Wa Golf Club in Island Falls.
