PRESQUE ISLE AND HOLDEN, Maine – Lois M. Gardner, 90, passed away Sunday morning August 27, 2017 at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle.
She was born May 22, 1927 in Presque Isle, the daughter of Donald and Elsie (Pelkey) MacIvor. She worked many years as a telephone operator at New England Telephone Co. She has joined her beloved husband Ned whom predeceased her 34 years ago.
She is survived by three sons; Donald Gardner and his wife Ethel of Presque Isle, Russell Gardner and his wife Patti of Gorham, and Randy Gardner of Denver, CO, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her brother Richard MacIvor.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday August 30, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Online condolences may be shared at www.duncan-graves.com
