The community calendar includes members’ birthdays, anniversaries, etc., along with photos of local venues and people by residents of our community. Purchase calendars by completing a form at the Town Office.
FYI: Customers must pick up their calendars at the Town Office in mid December; they will not be delivered as in the past.
This year’s price will be $12 and the calendar will include a different color photo on each page. Proceeds from this project help pay out-of-town fees for local children’s lessons and make it possible to offer partial scholarships to those in need.
Return order forms by no later than Sept. 15 to the Town Office, or by mail to P.O. Box 127, Easton, ME 04740. Call 488-6601 with any questions.
Fall cleanup day
The Town of Easton will provide a collection point at the town garage on the Fry Pan Road for household junk, such as appliances, tires, furniture, wood, etc., on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Wood products must be separated. No household garbage, used oil or commercial loads will be accepted. There will also be a collection point next to the recycling igloos behind the town office to dispose of electronics such as: televisions, computers, monitors, printers, fluorescent bulbs, circuit boards, cell phones, fax machines, scanners, laptops, DVD/VCR players, batteries and copiers. All recyclables must be deposited in the igloos behind the town office.
This collection is for Easton residents only. Coordinate your fall cleaning with the Town Clean-Up Day and make use of our efforts to make Easton a more beautiful place to live. Call 488-6652 with any questions.
