Course helps with ‘next career move’

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Starting September 20, New Ventures Maine will offer My Next Career Move, a tuition free five-week class to help you gain the confidence to learn how your current skills connect to future careers, identify high-growth fields, explore education and training options, and strengthen  your resume for a targeted job search.

Suzanne Senechal-Jandreau, trainer for the class, notes, “This course helps you develop a career plan that meets your needs.  Whether it’s finding a job you enjoy, looking for a career that better fits with your values and interests, or planning for a future career that helps you meet your financial goals – this class can help you set goals and action steps to move forward.”

My Next Career Move will take place on Wednesdays, from September 20 – October 11 (5 sessions in total), from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the University of Maine in Presque Isle.  To register or FMI, contact Suzanne Senechal-Jandreau at 768-9635 or senechal@maine.edu.  Pre-registration is required.

The class is open to women, men, and couples of all ages and incomes and there is no fee for the training. TTY users, please call Relay Service 711.
