The Town and Country Seniors met Tuesday, Sept. 12th at the Rec Center for a potluck and short business meeting.
Geri Smith made a motion to donate $150.00 to hurricane relief and it was seconded by Lela Long.
The group agreed to send the money to Samaritan’s Purse, an organization of Franklin Graham. We will meet again on Sept. 26 for a potluck.
On Sept. 19th the Putnam Senior Group is hosting a Bingo feast at the First Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. We encourage all seniors in the area to come and have fun.
