Katlyn Jandreau, a youth volunteer with Halfway Home Pet Rescue, visits with Meeko the cat at an HHPR foster home. Meeko, a Siamese mix, is now available for adoption.
Meeko is a gentle giant, weighing in at 26 pounds, and is very tall. He is about 10 years old and has had all of his medical completed. He gets along fine with other cats and does not appear to have any anxious traits or bad habits. He enjoys moving around his foster home and would be a contented and loving companion to any size family. He does need to be on a diet until he gets down to about 20 pounds. Jandreau’s mother is also an active volunteer at the HHPR adoption center. The rescue needs Friskies and/or Fancy Feast canned cat food; any donations are greatly appreciated.
