Energy service cited for efforts
PORTLAND — Mechanical Services, Inc., a leading commercial HVAC contractor, has been honored by Efficiency Maine for its leadership in developing key energy efficiency projects for its clients while maximizing cash incentives provided by the Efficiency Maine Business Program.
At the first Efficiency Maine Qualified Partners Banquet held recently in Augusta, Mechanical Services was recognized as contractor for the largest mechanical energy-saving project in the state, the Aroostook Centre Mall.
The contractor was also honored for completing the most energy efficiency projects in the state, encompassing businesses and institutions of every size. In every case, Mechanical Services helped commercial clients access incentives that made their projects possible and realize ongoing savings on energy and related costs.
Mechanical Services was the only contractor or supplier to receive two such awards.
“We’re happy to help Maine businesses access new efficiencies as well as the cash incentives that help put them in place,” said Chris Green, Mechanical Services president.
