WALLINGFORD, Connecticut – Peter Cyrus McPherson of Wallingford, CT, died unexpectedly, Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the age of 62.
Peter is survived by his siblings, Doris Farnham of Ascutney, VT, Raymond McPherson of Wallingford, CT, Merle McPherson, Presque Isle, Irene Bossie of Dixmont, Roy McPherson of Westbrook, Neal McPherson of North Charleston, SC, and Herb McPherson of Portage; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Hanford and Margueritte McPherson; brothers, Melvin, Robert and Leslie; and his sister, Linda Rand.
Peter was born September 14, 1955, in St. Francis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served for 10 years.
Military honors and inurnment were held Friday, October 20, 2017, at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT. Arrangements were made under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford, CT.
