CARIBOU, Maine – Germaine Dickinson, 72, died November 10, 2017, at her Caribou residence with her family by her side, following a brief battle with lung cancer. She was born in Caribou on June 5, 1945, the daughter of the late Ivan and Yvonne (Cote) Beaupre.
She was a graduate of Caribou High School and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She married Donald Dickinson on June 27, 1970, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving in addition to her husband of over 47 years, Donald of Caribou, are her sons, Bruce Dickinson and wife, Stacey, and Brian Dickinson, all of Caribou; two brothers, Gordon Beaupre and wife, Sandra of Caribou and Wayne Beaupre of NH; three sisters, Barbara Hebert and husband, Richard of Connor Twp., Joyce Paquin and husband, Dennis of Massachusetts, and Elaine Beaupre and husband, Dean of Caribou; her special granddaughter, Evan Dickinson; three sisters-in-law, Leona Page of New Hampshire and Linda Dickinson and Diane Plourde, both of Caribou; and brother-in-law, Keith Dickinson and wife, Viola of Stockholm; a sister-in-law, Donna Dickinson of Portland; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dickinson was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Conrad Beaupre, and a brother-in-law, Wayne Dickinson.
Friends visited with the family 6-8 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 14, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from the funeral home. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
