PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Carmen R. Theriault, 86, passed away with her children by her side on November 5, 2017, at The Aroostook Medical Center after a long illness. She was born in Edmonston, N.B. in 1931, the daughter of Wilfrid Legere and Yvonne Gondron, and lived in Presque Isle.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Theriault, son Donald Theriault, grandson Bobby Theriault, her parents and all of her siblings.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Jandreau, Michael (Nancy) Theriault, Carole (Tim) Olore. Her grandchildren Donnie (Jodi) Theriault, Mandy (Nick) Zielinski, April (Michael) Wilkes. Great grandchildren, Peighton and Kendall Theriault, Colin Zielinski, Olivia and Ava Wilkes. Step grandchildren Tammy and Jimmy Woods and step great grandchildren Anthony Woods and Parker McMillen.
Carmen would say, “I have the best children,” and was very proud of her grandchildren. Her great grandchildren brought her much joy. She loved us all very much as we were her world.
She will be missed very much by her best friend Carol McGrath – who was like a sister to our mother.
She will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date. Rest in peace.
