NASHUA, New Hampshire — Eva Callioras, the 13-year-old daughter of Stephen Callioras and Roxanne Poole of Easton, captured the overall championship in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Region One (New England) Soccer Shoot Contest held Nov. 4.

In winning the overall championship, Callioras achieved the highest score while competing in the goal scoring grid competition for all youths, including boys and girls, between the ages of 9 and 14. In addition to the overall title, Callioras, who represented Presque Isle Elks, Lodge 1954, also received a trophy for winning the girls ages 12-13 division.

In order to qualify to compete at the regional level, the Easton eighth-grader was the champion in her division at the lodge level during a competition held at the University of Maine at Presque Isle Sept. 24.
