TAMC welcomes 10 to VIP group
PRESQUE ISLE — The Aroostook Medical Center recently welcomed 10 new employees into its Veterans-in-Partnership (VIP) group at a breakfast held at A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital. VIPs are employees who have been employed by TAMC for at least 20 years.
“Our VIPs serve as an example to others in the organization and bring the experience and wisdom needed to help us achieve what matters most — providing excellent patient care,” said Sylvia Getman, TAMC president and CEO.

TAMC officials recently recognized several employees who’ve become members of the VIP Group — employees with 20 years or more of service to the hospital. Among those honored were, pictured from left: Jenny Lowe, Pat Lamoreau, Karla Whittaker and Dr. Daniel Fowler.
The 10 new members of the VIP group are: Daryl Boucher, Jeffery Findlen, Dr. Daniel Fowler, Dr. D. Merrill Hersey, Patricia Lamoreau, Jenny Lowe, Michael Michaud, Jane Stephenson, Sue Ann Russell and Karla Whittaker.
TAMC’s VIP group has grown to 181 employees. TAMC, the largest employer in Aroostook County, employs over 1,000 people from many different communities.
“Every day these employees touch the lives of their friends and neighbors in our communities. They make a difference at TAMC through their wealth of knowledge and dedication to excellence,” added Getman. “We recognize the difference they make, and we value their contributions.”
