PUCK CONTROL — Wildcat Tyler Seeley brings the puck up the ice on a breakaway to set up the second Presque Isle goal in Saturday’s game. Seeley notched an assist on the goal by Isaac LaJoie.

The two squads skated to a scoreless first period, but Connor Shaw creased the net with 8:06 to play in the second period to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead. Adam Flynn set up the goal as he skated to the left corner of the rink and flicked a pass to Shaw, who one-timed it past Old Town goalie Nathan Colannino.

Isaac Lajoie gave the Wildcats a 2-0 lead when he took a nifty pass from Tyler Seeley and beat the goalie. Seeley first leveled a Coyote player on defense, got up off the ice, chased down the puck and raced down the left wing before flipping the puck to Lajoie for the score.

The Wildcats had another goal waived off by the referees at the end of the period as it was deemed the shot took place after the buzzer.

Old Town scored four third-period goals, including an empty-netter, for the 4-2 victory. Presque Isle outshot Old Town, 36-22.
