RETIREES HONORED

City Council recognized four municipal employees on their retirement during at the Jan. 3 meeting at City Hall. City Manager Jim Bennett presented each with an award for their dedicated service to the community. Pictured from left are: Fred Parsons, 26 years with the Presque Isle Fire Department; Joyce Price, 28 years with the Presque Isle Indoor Pool; and Ralph LaPointe, 39 years with the Recreation and Parks Department. Carroll “Skip” Willette, also of the Recreation and Parks Department, was not present, but was recognized for 40 years of service to the city.
