ASHLAND, Maine — The Ashland Area Economic Development (AAEDC) committee announces the opening of its new office at 190 Presque Isle Street in Ashland.
Area business owners, citizens and area congressional representatives are cordially invited to attend an Open House on Thursday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. An opportunity to tour the office and socialize with guests is scheduled after the ribbon cutting. Light refreshments will be served.
The committee will formally introduce its economic director, Joella Theriault, during the event, and will meet committee members who have come together to provide support and expertise in developing future business and economic development opportunities in the greater Ashland area, from Oxbow to Portage Lake.
Parking is available in both the front and back of the office and in the Ashland District School parking area.
