PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Clarence “Richard” Hawksley, 74, passed away peacefully at the Aroostook Medical Center early Thursday morning, November 30, 2017. He was born April 4, 1942 in Mars Hill, the son of Theodore and Winnie (Coston) Hawksley.
He retired after many years at Columbia Forest Products. He was an avid Red Sox and Nascar fan. He was also strong in his democratic beliefs.
Clarence was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (White) Hawksley of 56 years, his loving son, Ted and wife Dee of Mars Hill, loving son Scott of Palm Bay, FL, and daughter in law Cyndi of Rockland, 4 grandchildren: Seth, Nate, Chelsea, and Allison Hawksley, and a brother John of Mars Hill.
