Baseball ump clinics
The Northern Maine Board of Approved Baseball Umpires will begin holding clinics for new members beginning Wednesday, March 2.
Interested individuals should meet in the lecture hall on the Northern Maine Community College campus at 6 p.m. that first night.
The cost of the clinic is $40, which includes the rule book. Other class dates will be held on Tuesdays, March 8, 15, 22, and exam night is March 29.
Those passing the board test and mechanics session will be eligible to begin working this spring at the middle school level.
