PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Maine Epsilon Master chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met on Dec. 14 at the home of Tammy Walton.
Appetizers were served preceding the business meeting, which was called to order by president Sue Lougee. Christmas cards were shared from sisters unable to attend the meeting.
The group decided to donate money to the Hope and Justice program to help them purchase items for infant children. Members were informed of upcoming events around the community, including a concert at the Grant Memorial Methodist Church with Danny Ladner and friends, the Vera Estey House Victorian Christmas, and a display of art by Evelyn Kok at the Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Library.
Happy dollars were shared and a book exchange was held, and following the meeting all enjoyed a Yankee swap. Cathy Walton organized refreshments that were delectable and delicious.
