PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Terry Scott Cyr, 54, of Presque Isle, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 26, 2017, in his home after a wonderful Holiday spent with family.
Terry Cyr was born in Presque Isle, Maine, to Clarence and Hazel Cyr on March 19, 1963. Terry Cyr was preceded in death by both his parents, and his brother, Larry Cyr. Terry is survived by his children, Hampy McPherson, Kyle Cyr, Destiny Cyr, and Jacob Cyr; his siblings, Sandra Cyr McLaughlin, Ricky Cyr, and Randy Cyr; and his grandchildren, who were his whole world, Carrissa, Talon, Colton, Thomas, Ryker, and Samuel.
Terry Cyr was an amazing father and a wonderful grandfather. He spent his days enjoying every minute he could with them, helping to build them up into strong individuals and encouraging them to be the best person they could be. We owe all we are to who he was. He was incredibly loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A celebration of his life event was held on Dec. 31, 2017, and a burial service for close family will be held on a later date at Fairmount Cemetery.
