CARIBOU, Maine — With every team having played 10 games so far, the Aroostook Dream Team has a comfortable lead in the Caribou Men’s Basketball League standings.
The Dream Team is 10-0, with Griffeth Ford and Caribou Eye Care each with 5-5 marks. Loring Job Corps is 3-7 and Country Farms Market 2-8.
In last week’s action, scores were as follow: Jan. 8, Aroostook Dream Team 55, Loring Job Corps 42; Griffeth Ford 64, Country Farms Market 45; Jan. 10, Loring Job Corps 70, Country Farms Market 48; and Loring Job Corps 54, Country Farms Market 44.
The schedule for Jan. 17 includes Loring Job Corps at Griffeth Ford at 7 p.m. and Caribou Eye Care vs. Aroostook Dream Team at 8 p.m.
On Jan. 22, Loring Job Corps takes on Caribou Eye Care at 7 p.m., followed by Aroostook Dream Team against Country Farms Market at 8 p.m.
Regular season games will be played through mid-February and then the playoffs begin.
Ben Rosser, who plays for Aroostook Dream Team, currently leads the league in scoring at 25.3 points per game.
