PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Esther L. Hewitt, 85, passed away early on Saturday morning, January 20, 2018, at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor. She was born on February 26, 1932, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Earl and Laura (Palmer) Bull.
Esther graduated from Mapleton High School and owned and operated Esther Beauty Salon in Presque Isle.
She is survived by her son, Lendall Hewitt of Bangor and a brother, Perlin Bull and his wife, Ruth, of Washburn.
In addition to her parents, Esther was predeceased by her brother, Richard Bull.
