CARIBOU, Maine – Joan Jandreau, 75, died on January 27, 2018, at Caribou. She was born in St. Francis on March 24, 1942, the daughter of the late Alberie and Verna (Thibodeau) Jandreau.
Joan was employed as a waitress for many years. She also was employed by Roy’s IGA as well as Catholic Charities for several years. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Liela Jandreau, and longtime friend, Galen Thibodeau. She is survived by a son, Lee Corey of Portland; three sisters, Racheal Bouchard of Soldier Pond, Aline Morin of Ellsworth, and Norma Jackson and husband, Colin, of St. Francis; a brother, Joseph Jandreau of St. John; an aunt, Cameline Madore, and two uncles, David and Ludger Michaud; two special people, Tammy and Benny Nadeau of St. Francis; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews as well as several very good friends from Caribou.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018, from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Caribou.
