PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Yolanda Marie ‘Ginger’ Wright, 79, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at The Aroostook Medical Center. She was born on April 14, 1938, in Grand Isle, the daughter of Gilbert and Leda (Theriault) Dumont.
She worked at FMI in Presque Isle for a few years; mostly she was a wonderful wife, homemaker, mother, and grandmother “MayMay”. She loved to spend time with family, watching TV, living the simple life, but “Queen” to the end. Yolanda and Gerald attended St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Washburn.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald G. Wright of Franklin, Michael Wright and his wife, Carol, of Lenoir City, TN; a daughter, Beth Lint and her husband, Craig, of Presque Isle; a brother, George Dumont of Warwick, RI; two sisters, Dorothy Price of Burlington, MA, and Theresa Zompa of Barrington, RI; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald in 2013; two brothers, Elmer and Clarence Dumont; two sisters, Patricia Dumont and Rose Marie Wilbanks; and a daughter-in-law, Karlene Wright.
