PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Ruby Jeane (Gustin) Giggey, 75, passed away on January 29, 2018, at EMMC in Bangor. She was born in Fort Fairfield, ME, on April 24, 1942, the daughter of Louis and Gladys (Kinney) Gustin.
Ruby attended school in Fort Fairfield. She worked for MSAD1, Bonanza, McCain Foods, and Irving before her retirement. She enjoyed puzzling, fishing, yard sales, being with her friends, and her six granddaughters.
She was predeceased by her father, Louis, mother, Gladys, brother, Donald, and her life partner, Roger Dunn.
She is survived by her sons, Dana Giggey and wife, Sharon, of Gray, ME, Steve Giggey and wife, Debbie, of Bella Vista, AR, and Jeff Giggey and his wife, Elizabeth, of Topsham, ME, and her six granddaughters, Amanda, Sarah, Elise, Emma, Emily, and Hannah.
Ruby is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy Miller of Long Island, NY, and Leatha Elkins of Fort Fairfield, ME, and her eight nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may pay their respects at a celebration of life for Ruby on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Sargent Family Community Center, 24 Chapman Rd., Presque Isle, in the senior center room. Donations may be made in Ruby’s name to Central Aroostook Humane Society, 24 Cross St., Presque Isle, ME 04769.
