A section of Bangor Street in Houlton was closed Wednesday afternoon when a three-quarter inch service line broke, causing water to leak into the basements of some office buildings. According to General Manager Greg Sherman, the line had been repaired earlier this summer, but had been connected to a pipe that was not sound. The entire service line was replaced by the end of the day and traffic was restored. (Joseph Cyr)
