MADAWASKA, Maine — VNA Home Health Hospice announces its spring 2018 Grief Support Group being held Wednesday evenings, March 14 to April 18, from 6-7:30 p.m.
This group is offered by VNA Home Health Hospice and Acadia Family Health Center at the center’s Fraser Conference Room, 460 Main St., Madawaska.
This six-week support group will offer adults the opportunity to learn about grief and share their experiences in a supportive, safe environment. This group is open to any adult (18 years and older) who is dealing with the death of a loved one.
Facilitators will be Karen Ouellette and George McLaughlin from VNA Home Health Hospice.
Participation is free of charge, but will be limited to 12 people. Â Participants should plan to attend all sessions and no new participants will be accepted after March 21st in order to maintain group integrity.
Anyone interested in attending the group must speak with McLaughlin, bereavement coordinator, at 764-9413 in order to reserve their spot in the group.
