Regular Presque Isle City Council meeting for March cancelled

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — City officials cancelled the regular Presque Isle City Council meeting that had been scheduled for Wednesday, March 7, according to City Manager Martin Puckett.

Puckett said Tuesday that the councilors will be unable to meet in March due to scheduling conflicts. He did not elaborate on what those conflicts were, but said that there were no “time-sensitive” items on the agenda that would have required a public meeting anyway.

“There was nothing on the agenda besides approval of the previous meeting’s minutes and standard permit approvals,” Puckett said. “If something comes up during the month, we might hold a special meeting, but for now I don’t see us meeting until April.”

The next council meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at Presque Isle City Hall.
