BANGOR and PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Nancy Lee (Taylor) Willey, 73, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 1, 2018, in Aroostook County, ME. She was born on August 15, 1944, in Amarillo, Texas, and was the daughter of the late USAF Major James. D and Medwin L. Taylor.
She graduated from Old Town High School in 1962 and attended the University of Maine at Orono, majoring in Education. She was a proud, loving mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her three kids were her life’s major accomplishment and she raised them as a single parent to have respect, honesty, integrity, and manners. She loved to play BINGO and frequented many halls across the state of Maine and throughout the country.
Nancy was an avid bowler in the 70s and 80s at Family Fun Lanes in Bangor. She was blessed to have visited every state in the US except for Alaska. She was also blessed to have been in the care of Mars Hills Nursing Home and the wonderful people there.
She leaves behind three strong independent children, sons, Christopher Willey and his wife, Stacy, Todd Willey and his wife, Tammy, and daughter, Kimberly Veneroni and son-in-law, Gino; seven grandchildren, Nick, Noah, Ryan, Taylor and wife, Audri, Benjamin, Lily, and Domenic, and great-granddaughter, Harper; sister, Timathie Arbo and husband, Alan, and niece, Audie Lee Arbo.
She was predeceased by her brother, Dick Taylor, from Texas.
