CASWELL, Maine – Rudolph J. Turcotte, 88, husband of the late Regina Greenier (Bell) Turcotte, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, March 17, 2018, at his Caswell home. He was born on June 16, 1929, in Caswell, the son of Randolph and Annie (Parent) Turcotte.
He attended school in Caswell and was engaged in potato farming for over 50 years. He was married to Regina Greenier Bell on November 4, 1963, and they enjoyed nearly 43 years of marriage, often traveling to various destinations. Rudolph also enjoyed smowmobiling and fishing at his farm pond in Caswell. He was a communicant of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Hamlin, and was a 4th degree member of the Limestone Knights of Columbus Council Number 2851.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Turcotte was predeceased by his wife Regina on June 6, 2006; one stepdaughter, Barbara Gilley; four brothers, Romeo, Orel, Fred, and Rene Turcotte; four sisters, Mary Saucier, Loretta Theriault, Mabel Theriault, and Edwina Clavey. He is survived by three stepsons, Thomas Bell of Caribou, Gregg Bell of Caswell, and David Bell and his wife, Gina, of Manchester, NH; two sisters, Jeannette White of Brooklyn Center, MN, and Joan Marchione of Blaine, MN; six step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Hamlin. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Turcotte to the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, 383 US Route One, Suite 2C, Scarborough, Maine 04074.
