BREWER and BRIDGEWATER, Maine – Betty J. Rideout, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 16, 2018, at her home in Brewer. She was born in Monticello on February 1, 1933, the daughter of Arthur and Mildred (Hersey) Delong.
Betty was a former member of the Bridgewater Free Baptist Church until she and her husband, Ralph, relocated to the Bangor area. She will be remembered by her sweet smile and love for family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Rideout, and her brother, Lewis Delong, of FL.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Scott and Linda Rideout of Howland, Donna and Glenn Roy of Orrington; her grandchildren, Eric Roy, Angel King and her husband Loren, Alicia Levesque and her husband, Adam, and Kaelin Rideout; her great-granddaughters, Layla and Ruby King, and Violet and Daphne Levesque; her brother, Arthur and his wife, Marion Delong, of TN, her sisters, Maxine Crosby of Carmel, and Noreen and her, husband, Norman Bertasavage, of TN; as well as many nieces, nephews, and her dear friend, Bonnie McKeen.
