White, Milford Charles, 82, died January 12, 2007 at Wade. Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at the Washburn Pentecostal Church. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. WADE – Milford C. White, 82, died Friday, January 12, 2007 at his residence. He was born August 28, 1924 in Washburn, the son of William Sr. and Elizabeth (Doherty) White.
Milford grew up in Wade, farmed in the Washburn area all of his life, and he enjoyed his trips to Florida. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an attendee of the Washburn Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Glenna (Conley) Levesque White of Wade, three children, Brenda Helton of Wade, Mavis Rose, and Sterling “Butch” Levesque, both of Washburn, two brothers Bernard of Mars Hill and William Jr. of Washburn, two sisters Shirley Brown of Caribou and Geraldine Turnbull of Mascoutah, Illinois, twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a very loving sister-in-law, Kathy White. In addition to his parents Milford was predeceased by four brothers Eugene, Maurice, Alden, Malcolm, and two sisters, Gwendolyn Drost and Phyllis Day.
Friends called 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be conducted 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Washburn Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Bruce Blakney officiating. Interment will take place in the Spring at Riverside Ext. Cemetery in Washburn.
