Girl Scout Troop 85, based in Caribou with members from Caribou, New Sweden and Limestone, went to a World Thinking Day event in Brooks last month. The girls learned about UNICEF and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. They worked together with girls through Maine to learn more about making our world a better place. As part of the event, the troop met Girl Scouts of Maine CEO Joanne Crepeau.
