The way this winter is going we may be seeing this flag for Memorial Day. All I can say is the conditions for being April 6 are incredible, and there are no real issues to report. The reports that I am getting are that these are midwinter conditions.
Most clubs from the Central Aroostook area and the Northern areas have been out grooming since Thursday and will continue throughout the weekend. There are a few clubs in the Central Aroostook area that have stopped grooming but are reporting good conditions on their sections.
The wind blew hard on Thursday, resulting in some downed trees, so please keep this in mind when riding a section that has not seen a groomer yet. Also, there has been some significant drifting that has occurred in open terrain, so again, please keep this mind.

On the social side
Fort Fairfield is hosting a breakfast on Sunday, April 8, from 7-10 a.m.
Presque Isle Snowmobile Club will hold stew night this Friday starting at 5 at their clubhouse.
St. Francis Sno Angels will have their clubhouse open Saturday from 11-7.
The Fort Kent Snoriders will host Climb the Pine hill climbs on Saturday, April 7, at 10 a.m.
