PETER MCGARY, MONTICELLO – Peter McGary, 54, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2018 at his home with his loving wife, Patti, by his side. He was born February 6, 1964 in Houlton, the son of Horace McGary and Bonnie Lewellen.
Throughout Peter’s life he had careers in carpentry, driving truck and was a huge sports fan. He spent his summers playing men’s softball and golfing with his closest friends.
Peter leaves behind his mother and step-father, Bonnie and Dennis Lewellen; his wife of 24 years, Patti (Rockwell) McGary; four children, Michael and Theresa McGary, Jeffery and Quinsey McGary, Vallerie and Andrew Brown, Anna and Jason Hafner; 8 grandchildren, whom he held very close to his heart, Madeline, Alexander, Margaret, Dante, Anabelle, Peyton, Declan and Delilah; brother, Dennis and Debbie McGary; two sisters, Sheila and Mike Lynds, Vicky and John Colgan; his best friend, Steve Moran and his “Nanner”Joanne Rockwell, who he loved so very much. He was predeceased by his father, Horace.
Friends may call 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. on Monday, April 16th at the Littleton Baptist Church where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. A spring interment will be in the Jewell Cemetery.
