FORT COLLINS, COLORADO – Rachel Grant Edwards died on August 21, 2011, at the age of 85 years at her home in Fort Collins. She was born July 3, 1926, in Easton, ME, the daughter of Walter and Nettie (Bulmer) Grant. She lived most of her life in Manchester, CT, moving to Fort Collins in July 2006.  She was a square dancer for 18 years in Vernon, CT.

She was preceded in death by three husbands: T. Baron Kilpatrick, Clifford Crehan, and Daniel Edwards; five brothers: Thearn Grant, Wallace Grant, Athill Grant, Wayne Grant, and Vincent Grant; three sisters: Fannie Bolster, Irma Jones, and Avis Hammons.

She is survived by two daughters: Gloria Moore of Manchester, CT, and Carolyn Mestuzzi of Fort Collins, CO; two brothers: Dale Grant of Minden, NV, and Gaylon Grant of Presque Isle; two sisters-in-law: Gloria Grant of Presque Isle, and Gloria Grant of Minden, NV; a close cousin, Lillian Flewelling of Easton; three grandchildren: Liza Sandman of Murrells Inlet, SC, Steven Mestuzzi of Pine River, MN, and Scott Mestuzzi of Fort Collins, CO; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors of Manchester, CT.
