Tuesday will be a relatively light day on the sports schedule with only a handful of games or matches scheduled.
On the tennis court, Presque Isle travels north to Fort Kent for a 3:30 p.m. match, while Caribou hosts Madawaska at 4 p.m. The Viking girls and boys enter the matches with perfect 8-0 records.
In baseball and softball, Madawaska travels to play Ashland at 3 p.m. and Southern Aroostook takes on Central Aroostook in Mars Hill beginning at 4 p.m.

Softball
Southern Aroostook 19, Katahdin 9 — At Dyer Brook Monday, the Warriors improved to 9-0 on the season with a 10-run victory over Katahdin. Individual results were not reported.
Fort Fairfield 31, Hodgdon 21 — At Hodgdon Monday, the Tigers and Hawks combined for a whopping 52 runs.
For the Hawks, Megan Russell blasted a two-run home run and added two singles; Sidney Crane had a double and two singles; Kendra Gresko tripled, doubled and had two singles; and Janelle Goff and Grace Graham both had two singles and a double.
For the Tigers, Cassidy Coiley had five singles, Emily Everitt and Sadie Edgecomb both had a double and two singles.
Fort Fairfield led 15-5 going into the bottom of the fifth inning, when Hodgdon rallied to score seven runs, sparked by a Jordyn McKissick single and three stolen bases.
The score was 15-14 in favor of the Tigers going into the sixth inning, when Fort Fairfield exploded for 15 runs to pull away from Hodgdon.
Fort Kent 24, Ashland 9 — At Fort Kent Monday, the Warriors took advantage of pitching wildness by the Hornets and rolled to the win.
Ashland’s starting pitcher, Kaitlyn Ferro, was injured after facing three batters and the Warriors took advantage of the relief pitchers who struggled to find the strike zone.
Amber Chasse doubled and tripled, Briana Harris doubled and singled and Jamie Poulin tripled to lead the Hornets’ offense.
Wisdom 21, Washburn 7 — The Pioneers kept the Beavers winless Monday in St. Agatha. Breanna Lavoie hit a grand slam homer and was also the winning pitcher for Wisdom.
Trinity Saucier-Pellicer, Chauntelle Kelley and Julia Dahlgren all had two hits for the Beavers.
Baseball
Fort Kent 15, Ashland 0 — Eden Paradis ripped three hits and drove in four runs and Jake Daigle hit a three-run homer as the Warriors blasted the Hornets in Fort Kent Monday. Baily Clark had the lone hit for Ashland.
Wisdom 29, Washburn 13 — The Pioneers won for the first time this season after opening with four consecutive losses, while the Beavers fell to 0-7 following Monday’s contest in St. Agatha. Individual results were not reported.
Fort Fairfield 9, Hodgdon 3 — At Hodgdon Monday, Isaac Cyr singled three times, stole two bases, had three RBIs and scored twice. Malcolm Langner also singled twice and scored two runs for the Tigers. For Hodgdon, Elijah Matheson had two doubles and two RBIs to pace the Hawks. Andrew Tuttle singled four times and scored two runs.
GHCA 14, Madawaska 2 — At Madawaska Monday, Austin Winston and Will Austin each scored three runs as Greater Houlton Christian Academy secured the win. Kyle Carver pitched three innings for the Eagles.
Madawaska’s Tristan Cyr hit his first home run of the season while, Jacob Theriault pitched four innings for the Owls.
Woodland 13, East Grand 0 — At Danforth Monday, the Vikings were shut out by visiting Woodland. Individual results were not reported.
Katahdin 13, Southern Aroostook 5 — At Dyer Brook Monday, Katahdin notched the victory over the Warriors. Individual results were not reported.
