PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — This year’s Farmers’ Market in Presque Isle promises to be bigger and better at its new location on Riverside Drive beginning Saturday, June 2, and running each Saturday from 8:30-1 p.m.

According to organizers, the number of vendors participating is growing.

“In addition to traditional offerings, this year’s market will have some great alternatives,” said Kim Smith, Presque Isle grant writer and public information officer. “There will also be gluten-free products available.  Stop by on opening day to check out all of the offerings.”

Products will include locally roasted coffee, fresh salad greens and pork products and food concessions.

New vendors are being accepted; for information contact Ken Arndt, director of planning and development, at City Hall at 760-2727 or karndt@presqueisleme.us.
