CARIBOU, Maine — Caribou girls varsity basketball coach Kayla Richards is directing a basketball camp this summer at Caribou High School.

The camp is for boys and girls currently in grades 2-7 and will be held June 11-15.

Marc Weeks, the JV girls coach at CHS, is the co-director and middle school coach Shane Theriault and current and former members of the varsity teams will assist.

Richards said that in a “focused and fun learning environment, dedicated coaches will help players understand the game of basketball, improve skills and build confidence.”

Skill development stations, individual competitions, team games and progressive skill development drills will be offered as part of the camp.

Every camper received a T-shirt and individual and team awards will be presented on the final day. The cost is $40 per player if paid by June 8. The fee increased to $45 after June 8.
