ARDELLA GRACE (RICKER) BENNETT, HOULTON – Ardella Grace (Ricker) Bennett, 79, moved on to Glory on July 3, 2018, in Houlton. She was born on September 13, 1938, in Littleton, the youngest child of the late Ralph and Mary (Stockford) Ricker.
Ardella graduated from Ricker High School and Zion Bible College. She was married for 57 years to her husband, Eldon, and together they had six children. She was a devoted wife and proud mother and grandmother. Ardella worked for years at Kinney Boarding Home and Brooks Pharmacy. She attended Sunday School and church faithfully her whole life, and most recently at the Houlton Wesleyan Church.
Besides her husband, Eldon, she is survived by her five children, Sharon and John Bulley of Houlton, Stephen and Julie of Linneus, Joel and Gwen of NC, Trevor Karri of Littleton, and Joshua and Keri of Houlton; 15 grandchildren, Maegen and her husband, Travis McManus, Taylor and his fiancée, Christine, Shelby, Isaiah, Jacob and Charlie Bulley, Nicole Bennett, Janelle and her husband, Matt McEwen, Chloe and her husband, Johnny Sprinkle, Madeline, Andersen and Isaac Bennett, Drew and Brandon Bennett, and Cameron and Charlotte Bennett; a great-granddaughter, Sailor McEwen; as well as brothers-in-law, Rutherford Fulton, Benson Bennett, and Gary and Mary Bennett, and a sister-in-law, Ida Ricker; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her in-laws; her infant son, Tracy; a brother, Ernest Ricker; and sisters, Jacqueline Foster, Patricia Cosper, Ernestine Fulton, and Gondola Heath; as well as her brothers-in-law, Jack Bennett and Chester Heath.

Friends called from 12 – 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 8th, 2018, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton, where funeral services were held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating.
