MARS HILL, Maine – Eva M. Kinney, 92, passed away on July 11, 2018, at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. She was born on May 11, 1926, in Mars Hill, the daughter of Perley and Gertrude (Tapley) Shaw, Sr.
Eva was married to the love of her life, Philip Kinney, on November 20, 1945; they were married for over 72 years. She attended Mars Hill Full Gospel Assembly and Old Fashioned Revival Center, Blaine. She loved to cook, crotchet and spending time with her family including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Philip, Eva is survived by her children and their spouses, Arnold and Susan Kinney of Blaine, Sandra and Clinton Fulton of Mars Hill; her grandchildren, Tyler Kinney and Eric Fulton; her great-grandchildren, Garth, Sarah, and Stephen Kinney, Liberty and Jamison Fulton; step-grandchildren, Paul and Calvin Miller and Denise Delong; and five step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Shaw, and his wife, Venita of Mars Hill.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest and James Shaw; and five sisters, Phyllis Whittaker, Helena Mullen, Hilda Wilson, Pauline Kingsbury and Kathaleen Crouse.
