Carmelita M. Cote

LIMESTONE, Maine – Carmelita M. Cote, 69, wife of Randall L. Cote, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, July 20, 2018, at a Caribou healthcare facility. She was born on December 12, 1948, in Caribou, the daughter of Alfred and Melvina (Michaud) Labreck. She attended Limestone schools and hairdressing school in Caribou, and was married to Randall L. Cote on May 10, 1979.
In addition to her parents, Carmelita was predeceased by one brother, Jim Labreck; and two sisters, Florence King and Coleen Labreck. She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Randall L. Cote of Limestone; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eldrick “Dickie” and Kim Cote of Limestone, and Jamie Randall and Desiree Cote of Plainville, CT; four brothers, Dennis Labreck and his wife, Sandy, of Chesterville, Glen Labreck of Caswell, Alfred Labreck and his wife, Glori,a of Caribou, and Larry Labreck; three sisters, Theresa Kelly of Fort Myers, FL, Annie Shark and her husband, Calvin, of Louisville, KY, and Yvette Duke of Mississippi; as well as two grandchildren, Alex Dayton and Gavin Cote, both of Plainville, CT; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Louis Catholic Church, 100 Main Street, Limestone. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Mrs. Cote to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
